If ever a picture was worth a thousand words, this one certainly is: the visit of Shailesh Vara, MP for North West Cambridgeshire and Shadow Deputy Leader of the House of Commons to our Yaxley site certainly endorsed the positive 'can do' attitude which permeates the company and all the staff within RB Organic.

- The main occasion for the visit was for Shailesh Vara, MP, to open a chilled storage and outloading facility. This facility was built to exacting environmental standards to meet our needs through to 2012. It was completed to a challenging time line and our resulting efficiency improvements have helped offset inflationary price pressures. This exemplifies the way RB Organic applies business understanding to build resources just ahead of the business need.
- Agnieszka (pictured above) manages the assembly of our organic vegetable boxes. The boxes were built on our procurement experience and the team's 'can do' attitude which enabled us to respond quickly to a customer need. We brought together a team including specialists in efficient and effective multi-component assembly and those with broad produce quality knowledge. This team launched the products on time and have continued to safeguard the quality standards of the range. It exemplifies the RB Organic 'can do' attitude and our ability to learn and integrate new skills focused on delivering a customer need.
- Shailesh like many visitors to our business, commented on the level of technology and supply chain partnership thinking that gathers organic crops and presents them to our customers. Partnership thinking comes from being a family business and most of our growing partners are like family. The trust that comes from these relationships makes a real difference. If someone has an idea or improvement we will try it: if the supply chain wins we all win. The whole group of stakeholders in RB Organic (Growers, Site Team, Customers and Shareholders) are passionate about giving people access to great wholesome organic produce and we will use the most advanced technology to achieve this goal.

Open Farm Sunday - 1 June 2008
This years event has been described by LEAF as “the best yet!”. Over 400 farmers across the country opened up and early reports indicate that nearly 150,000 members of the public visited a local farm on 1st June. A full report will be issued by LEAF later in the year…but in the meantime here is our very own Produce World report. Produce World acquires Marshalls and Agromark
Produce World Ltd, currently growing and marketing organic and conventional fresh produce, has acquired Marshalls Holdings Ltd, a group of companies that includes Marshall Bros (Butterwick) Ltd and a 76% holding in Agromark SA, in a deal agreed and completed last night.
