Parsnips have a sweet nutty taste and like carrots are very versatile as a side accompaniment to many meals, within soups or stews and even great as an ingredient for homemade fresh juicing.

Did you know?

  • Parsnips are actually richer in many vitamins and minerals than carrots. They're a good source of potassium and fibre.
  • Parsnips can be boiled, but steaming retains their full flavour. As with some other vegetables their flavour compounds are found under the skin.
