Formed in 1999, Growing Trust with Las Lomas is a joint venture growing operation between the Produce World Group and Las Lomas.

Based in Andalucia in Spain, Las Lomas is a large self-contained farming business. Its fields are located in the bed of an old reclaimed lake, ideally suited for our crops of parsnips, leeks, bunched carrots, potatoes and onions.

The farm is blessed with two large reservoirs that can hold enough water for 3 years' crop production and also supply water to the local village.

There is a large, well invested packhouse in the centre of the farm so the produce can be harvested, packed and cooled in prime condition.

Accreditations include BRC, Eurep GAP and LEAF Marque.

Its sister company, Five Senses, is a large and progressive stone fruit operation producing top quality fruit for British & Brazilian in the same area and around Seville.

Open Farm Sunday - 1 June 2008

This years event has been described by LEAF as “the best yet!”. Over 400 farmers across the country opened up and early reports indicate that nearly 150,000 members of the public visited a local farm on 1st June. A full report will be issued by LEAF later in the year…but in the meantime here is our very own Produce World report. Produce World acquires Marshalls and Agromark

Produce World Ltd, currently growing and marketing organic and conventional fresh produce, has acquired Marshalls Holdings Ltd, a group of companies that includes Marshall Bros (Butterwick) Ltd and a 76% holding in Agromark SA, in a deal agreed and completed last night.
